Why reviews slip through the cracks
You've sorted someone's switchboard, or got their air-con running again on a 38-degree day. They're thrilled. You mean to ask for a review, but it feels a bit awkward. You're packing up, the next job is waiting, and it never happens.
Most customers won't go looking for your review page on their own. Without a nudge, good jobs stay invisible to the next person searching for a sparky or an air-con tech in their area.
How review requests work
- After a job, your customer gets a short text. It thanks them and asks for a quick review, with a link straight to your review page. During setup we work out with you when it should go out.
- They tap the link and leave a review. No searching for your business name.
- The next service is covered too. For work that comes round again, like a yearly air-con service or a safety switch check, rebooking reminders can text them when it's due. The text includes your booking link so they can pick a free time, or they can reply and you call them.

What Rebookly sets up for you
- Your review request text, with a link to your page. You approve the wording first.
- Rebooking reminders with your booking link, and a calendar with your working hours. Google Calendar sync is optional.
- Missed-call text back and enquiry and quote follow-up, included.
- A plain monthly report: messages sent, replies and bookings.
Practical tips for asking for reviews
- Ask the same day. The job is fresh, and so is the good feeling.
- Keep it short, with one link. One tap to your page beats instructions.
- Ask everyone the same way. Don't pick out only the happy customers. It's fairer, and it keeps you in line with review platform rules.
- Don't offer anything in return. Discounts or freebies for reviews aren't allowed on platforms like Google.
- Reply to your reviews. A quick thank you shows future customers you care.
