The problem: customers forget, then the pool goes green
Most pool owners know they should get a regular service. Then life gets busy. A few weeks slip by, the weather warms up, and the first they think of it is when the water turns cloudy. By then they might call whoever comes up first in a search.
You could ring around your old customers, but who has time for that after a day of cleans? Going through old invoices at night to work out who's due is the kind of job that never gets done.
How rebooking reminders work
- You tell us your services and how often customers need them. For example a regular clean, a green pool clean-up or a pre-season check. You choose the timing for each.
- We load your past customers and their last service dates. You can export them from your job software, send a spreadsheet, or we help you pull it together. We send you a secure upload link once setup starts.
- When a customer is due, they get a friendly text. It includes your booking link, so they can pick a free time from your calendar inside your working hours. Or they can reply and you call them.
- They get a confirmation text. The booking shows in your calendar, with optional Google Calendar sync. Every reminder includes an easy way to opt out.
What it could look like
Your business: G'day Mick, [Your business] here. Your pool's due for its regular service. Pick a day that suits: [booking link] Or reply and we'll call you. Reply STOP to opt out.
Mick picks Tuesday afternoon
Your business: You're booked in for Tuesday afternoon. Just leave the side gate unlocked. Need to change it? Use the same link.
Your business: Hi Sam, it's [Your business]. Swimming season is nearly here. Want your pool checked and ready before the warm weather? Book here: [booking link] Reply STOP to opt out.
Customer: Yes please. Can you check the pump too? It's been noisy
Your business: No worries, we'll take a look while we're there. Book any free time on the link and we'll see you then.
Examples only. Names are made up, and we write your real messages with you before anything goes out.
What Rebookly sets up for you
- Reminder texts for each service, timed to how often your customers need it. You approve the wording first.
- Your booking calendar with your working hours, plus optional Google Calendar sync.
- Missed-call text back, enquiry and quote follow-up, and review requests, all included.
- A plain monthly report: messages sent, replies and bookings.
Practical tips
- Get last service dates as right as you can. Reminders are only as good as the dates behind them. Rough is fine to start.
- Split services with different timing. A regular clean and a yearly equipment check shouldn't share one reminder.
- Think about the season. A reminder before the warm weather starts can help fill your calendar early.
- Only text people who've agreed. You'll need permission to text your customers. You confirm this in the onboarding form.
